--his story--
Craig started his passion for drums back in the summer of 2002.  His influences of Joey Jordison from Slipknot, Shadows Fall, and Lamb Of God helped him set the bar high for learning speed and precision while also learning to throw an odd mix into the melting pot from inspirations like Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater.

Over the years, Craig learned to form these mixed styles and his own twist to create his own style.

Craig left his home town of Neenah in 2008 to Join the US Navy.  After eight years of active duty, he moved back home to Wisconsin where he completed two more years in the Naval Reserves. During his last duty station he met vocalist Corey Jackson in a previous band.  He knew that the power of both Corey Jackson, on vocals, and Jake Willems, on bass, was the final pieces to the puzzle for What Shadows Hide.
